Philosophy of the Judô

The master Jigoro Kano (creative of the soft way: the Judô) perceived the necessity of the ethics and of the moral one when it conceived the pedagogical process to teach judô. With passing of the years and the perfectioning of the process initially conceived, it is unanimous to affirm that judô is a formadora martial art of the character and good seen for all the society. Being thus, enaltece the pioneirismo following it with thought SHINGUITAI.

Position of a fighter of Judô

1.     To compliment the place of training before entering for the training and leaving the trainings after.

2.     To compliment the master after to enter in the place of training and before leaving the same.

3.     Not to inside take off kimono of the training place. It is a respect attitude to keep kimono moored well, clean and in perfect been.

4.     The training place is not a bed or a sofa. An adequate position must be kept when on the same.

5.     Not to never fight. To remember that the taught art is for self-defense and alone must be used as last resource.

6.     To compliment the friend of trainings before and after the fight, after all it is loaning the body to it so that you he can carry through its training.

7.     To never apply one technique if you know of beforehand that she will go to hurt the friend or adversary.

8.     To only train the corresponding techniques to its graduation.

To reflect

         The key of all the success of the martial art conceived by Jigoro Kano is disciplines it, the respect and the humildade. The master was very happy when he perceived the force of the Jiu-Jitsu and from this powerful art of combat body the body developed the Judô. To the brothers fighters of Jiu-Jitsu, art of which also I am gotten passionate disciple and, I send this message. When it only disciplines it and the respect will be introduced inside of the art, more we will not have notice on fighters promoting fight in bars and boates. Notice of fighters of Judô is not had fighting in the streets. Why it will be? To the practicing brothers of judô, my congratulations for all these years keeping the traditions and the spirit implanted for Jigoro Kano. Whenever I placed my Judogui under of the arm and left to train in another academy, exactly when another academy did not know nobody in this, I was received from open arms. This is the treatment that if excuses the brothers.

rules of kodokan

•  If it will be admitted in the Kodokan, I promise not to teach and nor to divulge 
  
  the knowledge of the art that will be taught me, saved with authorization
  
  of my masters.

• I will not make public demonstrations with the end to get profits.

• My behavior never will be of form to compromise and to discredit 
  
  the Kodokan.

• The Judô is a bouquet of all these flowers.
  The final goal of the Judô is the perfectioning of the individual by itself, developing a spirit that must search the truth through constant effort and of its total self-denial, to contribute in the prosperity and the welfare of the race human being.

  To reflect

   

  They say that it had a blind person seated in the sidewalk, with a cap its feet and a wooden piece that, written with white chalk, said: “Please, it helps me, he is blind”. An advertising executive of the creation area, that passed in front of it, stopped and saw one few currencies in the cap. Without asking for license, he caught the poster, he turned it, he caught the chalk and he wrote another announcement.

  The blind person came back to place the wooden piece at one's feet and was even so.

  Per the afternoon the advertising executive came back to pass in front of the blind person.

  Now, its cap was full of notes and currencies.

Philosophy of the Judô

•   What I can say on the philosophy of judô, this would be to enter in devaneios, therefore ha you vary forms of if seeing this. I find that we can see thus, judô I nail peace, harmony, physical culture and mental control. Therefore let us see. 
• Peace: We do not train to leave for ai beating in all or speaking to that we are judocas, therefore we do not have marks, symbols or another form any of in identifying them. We do not look fight very for I oppose it until we prevent them, and the ones that a form has oppose to this behavior are automatically excluding from the way therefore are not adaptam.
• Harmony: If one judoca to leave its native country and to travel for the world, being visited other schools of judô will see that in all the places of the world the teachings will be the same ones, and that to if presenting as one judoca will be received with the biggest honors therefore is a visitor a brother who came of far
• Physical culture: We know that as all the sport, judô not and an exception, when training we are making exercises, in we heat them before each lesson we have that to take care of of our feeding, not to exaggerate with noitadas alcoholic beverages with and not smoking. 
• Mental control: If we will not have it, as we will have itens above, and more judô being a sport of physical contact, provokes many times hematomas, injuries, breakings and exactly thus when finishing trainings, us looks at our friend or adversary (when in a championship) and we abrasamos it as if nothing it had happened, therefore it not and our enemy, to put it this to surpass you there using of all the possible ways for this, less and clearly to wound you.  Therefore I do not see another form to define judô not to be one of the sports more complete than already vi.
